Lucy Pearl Khofi is an award-winning activist and a Joint PhD Candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand (Public Health) and the University of Amsterdam (Anthropology).

Her research focuses on gender, health, hunger, and food insecurity, exploring how these issues intersect with Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus infrastructures, including water and energy systems. She works closely with impoverished communities, advocating for sustainable solutions, policy transformation, and equitable resource distribution.
